When he's done making a few pizza, a calzone, and a few dozen tortellini's he'll have post his story. Relax.
Vince is our most annoying, voracious beat writer since the legendary Stop Coaching Pat and he's trying to play it off like he's too cool for this story. WE NEVER GET A GOOD BEAT WRITER.

DeAngelo, Del Zotto and DiGiuseppe are opening an Italian joint. Di Del Angelo’s.

Rangers will ultimately beg them to serve chicken parm heroes at the garden and they’ll have the last laugh.

DeAngelo will be back in the NHL soon. Perhaps with the Rangers, perhaps elsewhere. Talent always wins. There are people in the league who have done much worse and hang around because they have talent. Want an example? Mike Riberio; 17 NHL seasons.

And be sure to vet the place you get your rumors from.

This is very true. The Rangers are an organization that has had players who have had off ice issues before (Sean Avery, Billy Tibbetts, Theo Fleury) and have given them the opportunity to play. Talent and production are still important to any NHL team.

99.99% sure that this isn’t true but for all we know Connor McDavid could be an absolute dirtbag of a human being that only cares about himself and is a locker room cancer. Even knowing this would you want him on your team?

DeAngelo has worn out his welcome with the Rangers, that’s the one thing that is for sure based on Quinn’s comments. But there is an NHL team out there that could benefit from his skill set, but maybe not at his current cap hit and not with the current economic situation in the league. He should clear waivers tomorrow and will most likely never play for the Rangers again. A trade will be the only solution where salary would need to be retained and possibly even a pick needs to be attached.

Teammates won’t always get along as there are probably many instances where they have gotten into fights with one another and we never hear about them in public. DeAngelo had one good year for us as he was playing for this current contract. If he hasn’t already done so he needs to man up and apologize for his actions and apologize to his entire team even if he never plays with them again.

Shapiro and Herman have been writing negative stuff about DeAngelo for a long time now. I'm not saying they are 100% lying about what happens, but I wouldn't really consider them trustworthy on this subject and it wouldn't surprise me if they just exaggerate it a bit to juice it up.

Like you said: The "Kreider punched DeAngelo" bit wasn't confirmed. And it probably never will be. Does that mean it didn't happen? We will never know.

And that's the thing. You can just add on to the story and nobody will ever confirm or deny it happened. It will forever be up in the air on whether or not it actually happened. I don't consider blogs legitimate sources.
Don't you contribute to a blog?

Nobody is taking on this shit show. Any GM that brings this guy into their dressingroom is looking to get fired, George Kostanza style towing the commissioners trophy in the parking lot.

This place fiends off any scrap of rumor and on this people suddenly want “legitimate reporting”?

For a guy who the team wants nothing to do with and in 15 hours might not even be here?

Haha I mean yeah, maybe you or other people don't, but I would want to have legitimate sources backing up accusations and rumors that he stole Miller's first goal puck, or Kreider punched him in the face, before it becomes normalized and spoken as fact around here or any other social media platforms. I personally think that's wrong.

Probably not the best day to add insult to injury but the Rangers decided to taxi squad Miller for the day taking ALOT of money out of his pocket tonight. Nicely done gorts. This org is a shit show

The org is problematic and it’s from the top down starting with Dolan. It’s absolutely shameful to be the 2nd to last team to comment on the killing of George Floyd and to never have the guts to say his name. If you disagree... I don’t know how to respond to that.

Why do sports teams at all need to put out a statement. They are a sports organization, not a news organization. They should stick to god damn sports. I was annoyed that they put out any statement. There is no need to.

WHY DOES EVERYTHING NEED TO POLITICIZED!!!!!!!!!!!

I have it on good authority that DeAngelo’s been applying baby oil to all Zib’s sticks and also slipping melatonin into the water bottles. All will be well soon.

Gonna wake up to Tony being linked to the JFK assassination

My apartment is literally .6 miles from the grassy knoll and book depository. Now that I think of it, I have seen a young Italian-ish NY/NJ type pacing the streets nearby a lot lately.

Reporter: "The Rangers are trading for Eichel"

HF: "What size should my #15 jersey be?"

Reporter: "Tony DeAngelo might be a piece of shit"

HF: "I need DNA"

Haha I know this is a joke, but I think the HF that responded to the Eichel rumor and the HF that responded to the Tony rumor in your example are two distinctly different groups.

All joking aside, if some of the rumors are true and DeAngelo was fracturing the locker room, the team might actually play better with him gone.

They probably need salary cap for a 3rd line right dman

I firmly believe that there is more entertainment and joy to be experienced by watching and listening to people just grunt and yell at each other without expressing any words.

That's what political conversations are to me now. Growing up in NYC, I uh saw this coming and got out of dodge baby. Hahahaha Whoooooo

Parodying this incident is at least a bonding experience for our little group here in an otherwise ugly early season.
