I can say the same for you though. I have seen your sheer hatred for DeAngelo pierce through any post that could possibly include reason and logic behind the unproven conspiracies being thrown around.


If it is proven DeAngelo has been bullying his teammates, and I mean really bullying them, not just pulling some prank, then yea he can go kick rocks.

If he has been using racial slurs behind the scenes then yea he can go kick rocks. But then again the whole coaching staff should go for allowing it.

I need evidence before I just go and start accusing and labeling someone something that can destroy not just someones career but their life. Its one thing if he was emotional and took a stupid unsportsmanlike penalty slamming a door, or that he got into an altercation with a teammate over a play that he had a legitimate reason to be upset about but should have handled his emotions better...its another to make an indictment of someone based on rumors and not facts.

I mean, again, it's not like DeAngelo bullying teammates is beyond the pale.

I just don't understand the absolute pearl-clutching over the notion that he would do these things.

Whatever happened it was enough for the Rangers to be willing to part with what should be a coveted asset at a coveted position entering the prime of his career for nothing, immediately. So it has to be something pretty serious.

People love to be so righteous in their hate. Its sad. If Tony did do something horrible then he deserves what is coming. But if he did not then the people who believe the unverified rumors and help spread them by doing so are no better than the hacks that start them.

I think my point is that what you're saying doesn't matter in context with the Rangers. We can debate what happened, and believe what we believe, but the bottom line is he crossed some line(s) with the Rangers and they appear to be done with him. It doesn't have to even be something "horrible", but there's no disputing he did something or some things that the team did not like.
