Here's my unemotional take on it:
ADA let his temper get the best of him and its best for the team if he's not on it. Maybe he'll clear waivers, go do some anger management, and work his way back onto the roster. While he'll always be an asshole, I think he can learn to channel his assholery in a more productive manner. I don't really care about the slurs and things he may or may not have said in the past, if he can make amends with that and move on, great... if not, then he won't fit in with any team in the NHL.
Maybe he clears waivers, continues to go down this current path and he never plays in the NHL again.
Either way, the ball is 100% in his court to turn his life around. Some people have to hit rock bottom before they turn their shit around. I wish him the best.
In the meantime, Quinn has lost the room and needs to be gone as of last night. Time to bring in a guy like Gallant who can reign in control of the room.
Despite the losses, I feel like the team is competitive in every game and isn't a complete dumpster fire. Maybe they should have kept Staal and Lundqvist just for the leadership... either way, someone needs to be the leader here.
