For what it’s worth it seems like exactly the kind of “joke” Tony would play. Except it’s not funny. Obviously these rumors aren’t confirmed but if there is even an ounce of truth to this, anyone here making jokes about it should be ashamed.

I “love” how the organization rushes to the media to leak stuff. Oh he did this, he did that.

What is this? A kindergarten? They think we care? Put a good team on the ice, win games. The Red Wings had a huge fight between a bunch of Russians on one side and a group of Canadians on the other in one camp. Bowman came in and straighted out those issues but the result of that friction carried them a couple of decades.

It's worth nothing because you don't know him and you're not in the room.

Here's my unemotional take on it:

ADA let his temper get the best of him and its best for the team if he's not on it. Maybe he'll clear waivers, go do some anger management, and work his way back onto the roster. While he'll always be an asshole, I think he can learn to channel his assholery in a more productive manner. I don't really care about the slurs and things he may or may not have said in the past, if he can make amends with that and move on, great... if not, then he won't fit in with any team in the NHL.
Maybe he clears waivers, continues to go down this current path and he never plays in the NHL again.
Either way, the ball is 100% in his court to turn his life around. Some people have to hit rock bottom before they turn their shit around. I wish him the best.

In the meantime, Quinn has lost the room and needs to be gone as of last night. Time to bring in a guy like Gallant who can reign in control of the room.
Despite the losses, I feel like the team is competitive in every game and isn't a complete dumpster fire. Maybe they should have kept Staal and Lundqvist just for the leadership... either way, someone needs to be the leader here.

Fan of both the Eagles and Rangers....
... but how? It's like being a Catholic and a Protestant at the same time.

Grew up in NYC, grandparents lived 30 mins outside of philly. Father and grandfather are Eagles fans. Pretty much how it went.

To all the Zibby bashers, I think he's still recovering from the covid. Look what happened to Zeke Elliott. Some people just get hammered by it. Zibby looks winded out there. It sucks but it's quite possible that his bout with Covid cost him a productive season and it's just something that's going to linger all year like a bum hammy. If your lungs aren't at 100%, it doesn't matter how much work you're putting in, the oxygen still isn't pumping through the blood as well. That hurts in a high cardio sport. No amount of off season physical preparation can prevent you from experiencing the bad impact of a serious lung disease
I wonder if they been giving vitamin shots , therapies and other related procedures to strengthen and get him back to 100%?

And what if K’Andre confirms this after he clears waivers? Would you still defend your boy?

I wholeheartedly agree that if other stuff comes to light and it was a serious situation between them then it should not be made light of. That kind of stuff would be awful.

That said, the microcosm of the puck thing in and of itself is so ridiculously silly and juvenile that even if true it will certainly continue to be made fun of in the hockey community. Would I be shocked if it was true? Not really. But I would be perplexed that something like that even happened. It is just straight up bizarre.

I have my own source who can't say whether or not the puck thing is true or not, but apparently if it was, it was just the tip of the ice berg of the other things he did. The puck thing is comparatively juvenile.

I can believe other things.

The puck thing, like I said, means at least one person on the bench was also involved.

And that's the type of thing where if I were in the locker room, I would've knocked TDA out for if it was true.

Vince refusing the cover the story of the season because he's moving is pretty f***ing soft.
I prefer Vince as a reporter over many that we have had over the years, but the dude certainly can be a bit lazy. Very much a "oh come on, I'll get to it" kind of guy haha
