Guessing since Brooks brought up the possibility of trying to void the contract, and Quinn saying they will be giving more information in 24 hours, that’s going to be their plan.

No it's that your using 6 games as a sample to say a player isn't good anymore which is obviously stupid.

You want him off the team for behavioral issues? Totally a fine stance.

You want him off the team because he's played poorly in six games? Stupidity.
The question asked how he could be replaced. My answer was replying to that.

Did I comment that I wanted him off the team? No
Did I say he wasn’t good anymore? No

You keep going down a road that I never approached. However, I do have opinions on him that have been well documented. I preferred to stick to the topics being discussed...you seem to prefer inferences and veering into other things. The goalposts need to stop moving, or start a new topic.

Loki is THE coolest dog.

So if ADA has an argument or fight with a teammate he gets waived? Yet the coach still has his job for having teammates fighting each other because he can't win games or develop players or scratches whomever he doesn't like whenever he wants?
Where was the equipment guy in all this??!? Don't they have a team masseuse?!??!? And the GM and President are the ones keeping the coach on?!? And Dolan owns the whole thing!

I'd be all over Gallant. We have the makings for a St. Louis Blues run lol.

Is that Trouba thing true? If that's the case then this team really is a mess internally.
Yeah, if you have people in the room who have issues with Trouba getting an A over their friend Tony then that’s a big sign of maturity issues in the room. Loser mentalities. If you care more about something that doesn’t really matter instead of growing as a group and winning then you have issues. Players like this should be weeded out and removed from the team. There’s no place for mentality like that on a good team.

1. Wouldn’t you assume they thought he WAS an asset...and paid for it? They invested, and HE was the one who f ucked up. That’s not on the Team.
2. Join us here in 2021...he’s easily replaceable for what he was currently bringing.
3. Seriously? Who can give us one secondary assist over six games and be on the ice for more than half the goals against at even strength? Hell... let’s get @Machinehead out there....he can bring us that and then some.
I'll be entertaining!

I'm not going to say that what happened with DeAngelo is good from a hockey or asset perspective, but it's not like we lost an integral part of the team.

With Trouba's contract and Fox being Fox, the divorce was inevitable. Amicable or not was up to him and he made his choice.

Trouba's contract, with the way he's played so far, it's a bigger concern than losing DeAngelo for free.

The Kansas City Chiefs won the superbowl last year and are playing in it again next week and they have a verfiable domestic abuser that had investigations for child abuse recently at the forefront of their team. Organizations, teams, players, are able to navigate these waters and come out the other side fine.

I am still really excited about the future of this team and avidly tune in to each game.

Barring a great stretch of hockey resulting in a playoff bid and competitive showing in the playoffs, Quinn's timer is set for the end of the year. Realistically, if the team continues to struggle hard I could see the change by March. I disagree with most hot take critiques of Quinn, but the team certainly seems like it is headed for needing a changeup.

but now we’re losing him for nothing . And we have no one to immediately replace him. Nils is a year away

I think this is a level headed way to approach it.

Is it unfortunate? Of course. Does it dislodge the train? Nah

This dumb drama can't be good for sweet Kakko and Laf's tender constitutions. Fighting over A's? Punching each other in the face rather than Rust and Grundzel?

They gotta fix this culture and fix their centers asap.
I'm sure they are fine. Laf is honestly one of the last people I'd be worried about tbh

Lias was an anomaly, not the norm

This team is badly mismanaging assets.

Trade for Howden and Hajek and fail to develop them, trade for Rykov, don't really develop him. Draft Lias 7th overall don't properly develop him and trade him for 60th overall, only get 2nd + 3rd round picks for Zuccarello. Trade for ADA develop him and then waive him for nothing. Trade for Spooner and Namestnikov and fail to get them to produce. On and on and on.

In all honesty it's probably beneficial to them. No one is focusing on the fact that the 1st overall has 1 point in 8 games and the 2nd overall from last season has 1 primary assist 5v5 in his entire career.
