Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I think the dots are easy to connect on this one. Bergy wanted to get slimy and this resulted in the player ending up somewhere other than Montreal.
Torts has done well with that team, its just not an attractive market for talent. Panarin didnt come to the states to play in ohio. Getting Laine for a guy who put up points with Panarin is a hell of a trade.
Agreed. Chytil is on the cusp of breaking out. Let’s see what we got here.

i’m sure Laline will be blocking shots and playing defense for Torts.
Who knows, maybe they flip Laine.
When you make millions like PLD, houses are about as disposable as rentals are for peons like us. PLD's real estate agent will take care of it.
Yeah no shit, but if he really, really, really wanted out of Columbus before this offseason, he wouldn't have bothered.

For sure my friend is buddies with a couple guys that know him and Roslovic has been in Columbus waiting for his situation to be resolved.
I respect Kekalainen a lot, going back to his time in St. Louis. I have no idea why he has blinders on when it comes to Torts. He will not win another championship.
He also will inherit a good chunk of PLDs minutes. Torts is desperate for a win here, and a home town kid like Roslovic might be motivated to buy in.

After PLDs interview yesterday I have no clue lol.
But Torts did mention and imply that today's athletes are more apt to be "Prima Donna's" and some less apt to buy into team concept. Torts said also that if you didn't buy into that, that it was his job to play the players who think team and what they are trying to achieve as a group.
I don't like this trade for Winnipeg at first glance. Does anybody think PLD will be in a Jet uniform in 2 years? Maybe ,who knows..

Laine is by far the best piece CBJ are getting for PLD. Obviously, now they have to sell him on Columbus. But worst case scenario they flip him a year from now for a haul.
Winnipeg deals a (IMO) one dimensional sniper who may or may not be in their future plans for an all situations C they hope can be their Ryan O’Reilly. With his Dad in the org, assume they have some level of confidence he could be signed long term.

They could, but at that point, I'd rather spend the capital on Barkov or Eichel. Both are a couple of tiers above Dubois.
Yeah thank goodness the Rangers were not involved in trying to acquire a 22 year old Center who has averaged around 50 points thus far in his career when we have glaring hole at the center position on the current roster and in the prospect system. Thank goodness...

why would a 22 yr old buy a house? Even if you pay others for the upkeep it’s a pain in the tail at that age. The kid is playing hockey, traveling and being a 22 year old. Who wants to deal with a house at that age?

Looks like a lot but Roslavic is not exactly worth a ton and Laine isn't going to sign with CBJ easily. You're potentially talking about moving Laine at the deadline for futures. This isn't a haul even if the player names are fancy.
