I warned everyone about Kreider. He's at the point now where the p for potential has been replaced by production.

He is what he is. He'll get hot at some point and score like 16 goals this year. He's not consistent enough to be a Captain.

No, it wont.

Kreider is built for modern NHL hockey, Staal was not.

Kreider has not had life altering injuries.

Kreider was not signed to a 6 year NMC by Glen Sather

Kreider is movable in 4 years if needed.

He will be fine and producing like he has. He's a slow starter and his centerplay has been average to say the least. I do not understand why they stopped shooting with him in front on the PP though
Kreider did have Thoracic Outlet did he not?

Not sure where to put this, but anyone who isn't following the Tony DeAngelo burner account saga happening on twitter today is def missing out.

Just finished watching the trade call with GM Jarmo of the Blue Jackets and he was adamant in saying that the trading of PLD was not a Torts vs Dubois situation, it was a whole management and ultimately his decision to trade Pierre.

I'm hoping it's his brother or something, that's some embarrassing stuff.

Well, i mean, the account LIKED a tweet talking about how bad Trouba's salary is. So... it better not be him. But it seems like it's him or someone close to him. Either way, that's a fun locker room situation.

is he totally melting down?

so the account was going around and responding to a lot of criticism of DeAngelo and his play. Even someone that said they are a big fan of his and a supporter of his, and he went off on them.

Then the account felt the need to address the rumors it was a burner account. In that tweet someone in the replies just F12ed their screen and brought up the html source code saying they hacked the account and know it’s DeAngelo, it didn’t hack the account for those not up on technology like that.

the supposed burner account then asked how the person did that, then said they could sue them for that.

then someone sent a link with an IP grabber to the account in a DM. They clicked it, the IP address is in Pitt.

Also some of the tweets the account liked, like one bad mouthing Trouba, it isn’t a good look if it is him.

There’s almost no chance it’s actually Tony considering the accounts first tweet was like 20 mins after the game ended last night

Now it’s very possible it’s his brother though

That said if it is actually Tonys account he’s an idiot

I don't really wanna get into it, but he's retweeted "stuff" immediately after games before. I remember because I found it strange/funny. Not saying it's definitely him, but the timing doesn't rule anything out.

I dunno, it's pretty easy to sign up for Twitter and it's not like he didn't have access to his phone in the locker room/on the ride to the hotel afterward. He could very easily have wanted to vent after the game.

Regardless, seems like it's highly probable it's either Tony...or Tony's brother is there in Pittsburgh with him, in which case, he is very likely violating COVID protocols.

Didnt kevin durant do the same thing?

Hindsight is the key here. Since signing extension the Rangers won lottery resulting in immediate roster impact at his position and pandemic that destroyed universally expected cap increases over the next few years and beyond.
The pandemic was raging before the signing, only the shut down happened after. The entire league was willfully ignorant of the writing on the wall. No one guessed right so I'm not trying to vilify anyone. But we shouldn't really keep playing the pandemic wasn't a thing card.

We had a cap crunch as well. The 3 goalie problem wasn't getting resolved any other way, so Lundqvist's buyout was a good as done. There were plenty of posters against the Kreider signing because of cap issues. If we are screwed by it not rising $1.5m, we were in trouble with or without the pandemic.

So yeah, we shouldn't blast GMs for decisions in hindsight. But if some random posters had foresight about these issues, I don't think Gorton deserves a pass.

Laine has two more years of team control after this year. Plenty of time to sign him or move him if necessary.

Exactly what Columbus was looking for — a talent for talent trade.

Winnipeg unloads a headache that wasn’t going away quietly. Both sides had their reasons for doing this.

I think Columbus wins the trade short term but Winnipeg probably wins long term.

Yikes didn’t see that someone did an IP grab that located the account to Pittsburgh

It might actually be him lol

The Rangers gotta trade this dude, the fact that it’s totally plausible is ridiculous. He’s like a ticking time bomb lol

given his comments on covid in the past, it wouldn’t be a shocker

With how Fox has looked so far this year, You have to think it's an inevitability. He's younger, almost as dynamic offensively, and much better in his own zone.

The big tragedy for me is that you've got an RFA asset coming off a gangbusters year offensively, and it seems like we won't get anywherenear fair value for him because of all these shenanigans.

He also isn't doing any favors to stereotypes about the temperament of Italian Americans

I remember one shift in squirts when I slammed the bench door- my father gave me a 30 minute lecture after the game about how real men keep their emotions in check, so maybe I'm biased, but It's not something I like in a player.

I watch a ton of those Soccer documentaries and it seems quite common for players to come back to the room and check their phones pretty immediately. After all these are young guys in their 20s. They'd be acting like just about anyone in their generation.
