You see a fight every 5 games maybe. Other sports survive without the fighting, just let it f***ing go.

I got so hyped when I realized one of the top 2021 prospects is an Eklund. Unfortunately I guess hockey isn't that small of a circle that he's related.

Rooney did it at the end of the game on Dillon for the Kakko hit.

Effing loved it.

I thought hockey was the greatest classiest sport in the world. Why in this classy sport should we expect someone taking a cheap shot on a player necessitating fighting that's illegal in every other sport (use I know hockey makes it illegal but there's no practical incentive not fight)?

What does being “classy” have to do with the sport by its very nature being physical? You will still have players that toe that line.

Banning it is naive and shortsighted for the practicality of how the game is played. Banning body checking wouldnt be far behind.

Football and rugby are much more physical.
