A PLD trade isn’t imminent until things become untenable with him and Torts lol
It’ll happen soon enough don’t worry

I forget who it was on SiriusXM on Friday, might have been one of the TFP guys, but they made some valid points that Laine or PLD being traded would likely have to happen in the next 3-4 weeks due to the COVID quarantine rules. It would be tough for a team to endure those quarantine rules later in the season when they are making a trade to potentially push for a playoff spot. Especially if that team is trading some players off their roster to acquire PLD or Laine. So if it doesnt happen relatively soon, it would likely be after the season. They also said they cannot see Canadian teams trading with each other because they are all in one division fighting for 4 spots. South of the border you have 3 American Divisions to trade between. Here's the HNIC segment where CJ and Friedman talk about PLD:
Blue Jackets in no rush to trade Pierre-Luc Dubois - Sportsnet.ca
PLD will get traded. They have time to wait for a strong offer but it certainly doesn't seem like a situation where PLD is going to change his mind about staying in Columbus. So the question becomes whether or not any suitors will feel like they need to hurry up and get PLD in the mix before the season slips away. So maybe if Strome continues to be a mess, the Rangers feel like they have to upgrade there sooner rather than later and are willing to make a better offer.
Yes definitely. That's the D lineup I suggested in the post game threadWhat would you guys think of these lines for next game
Kreider - Zibanejad - Buchnevich
Panarin - Howden - Lafreniere
PDG - Chytil - Kakko
Lemieux - Strome - Gauthier
Lindgren - Trouba
Miller - Fox
Smith - DeAngelo
Maybe they finally cut bait on Torts. He isnt winning them anything besides a few regular season stretchesA PLD trade isn’t imminent until things become untenable with him and Torts lol

Why is slamming the penalty box door and mouthing off to the refs considered “passion” instead of “tantrum”? There’s a difference....
Did ADA play with passion during the game....nah. Nor did most of his teammates. Yet some want to justify the little tantrum...”it was passssssion”....or “we were down 4-0, so who cares?”......
Those who have children know...this needs to get nipped early, or the behavior doesn’t get better.
“but, but, but other guys don’t get punished like he does”.... maybe because other guys don’t have his track record, but the “whataboutism” is no justification.
Complain about Quinn all you want (some is definitely deserved), but the legendary coaches (Bowman, Arbour, etc) would do the same thing here.
Then don't trade for him.
I'm ok with that as well
Nice to see that the suicide watch on the boards has been called off.
Any interest in claiming Jason Spezza?

Also that the prices fans speculate are almost always too high.If history taught us anything, it's that a player forcing a trade doesn't necessarily lower the price
Pass. He can't skate anymore.Any interest in claiming Jason Spezza?
I would only want Spezza as insurance for the 4C slot. 3C in a pinch.Claim Spezza. Flip Strome for a pick. Promote Chytil to 2C, play Spezza at 3C.
3.8 million net cap space.
More incentive for Howden and Barron.I would only want Spezza as insurance for the 4C slot. 3C in a pinch.

Spezza won't play here or anywhere else for that matter.Claim Spezza. Flip Strome for a pick. Promote Chytil to 2C, play Spezza at 3C.
