Gut feel, I'd just keep Chytil.
There's no way Chytil will ever be as good as Dubois

I said that too, yet that means Chytil should also carry a lesser cap hit,
Rangers are going to have to decide where to allocate their space under a flat cap.
Sure, yet the Rangers drafted wings, plus they have some large commitments already.Center is a good place to allocate it. Crosby/Malkin. Backstrom/Kuznetsov. Kopitar/Carter. What’s that, 6 Cups in the past 10ish years? And yeah, some of them don’t carry as large of cap hits, but keep in mind salary cap was like 70M when the Kings won their Cups. Spending big money on the wings or on defense that ultimately plays on the third pair (or not at all) is a worse plan than spending on center depth.
Any insight from our insiders on TDA? What happened? Is a trade in the works? Are they pissed about his ridiculous politics, like I am? Just strange that he’s being held out.
This feels possibleDubois for Tony D, Strome and Kravstov. Kravstov may never play for the Rangers. He seemed unhappy and might want a fresh start somewhere else. Fair or not? Dubois slots right in at 2c. We can live without Tony and we have a lot of kids coming up that need a slot. Can Nils come over next season?
Thank you.Politics and related tangents are not allowed. Still.

Way too much.
This is a package that'd be offered for Eichel if the Rangers were to go that route.
Occasionally I see Buch use his size and good balance to push around defenders and make things happen. I expect Kakko to do that sooner and more emphatically. Kind of a hybrid power/finesse forward.Agreed. I think they will get good value, but Lafreniere aside, Kakko is maybe the top wing prospect in the league. Love being told that he’s not even close in value...which is fine actually, because I’d rather see Kakko thrive here for the next 10 years.
You can forget it. My Kings source says he’s untouchable. They’re grooming him for a cup of coffee when he’s 29. Which is just a few years off.@Edge How often has Bokondji Imama‘a name come up in those discussions between LA and NYR? Every time?
I am over Curtis Lazar, this is the guy we should get. Obaby, if Gorton doesn’t get it JD must step in and make it happen.

I heard Pittsburgh offered Crosby and Malkin. JD cursed when he heard Panarin has a no-trade clause.
Yes. I like PDG but I’d rather have a Derek Dorset type on the fourth line. I would think there’s a guy like that available. He is a late bloomer!
But on a serious note, I really think we could benefit from having someone young(er) and hungry that plays with a ton of emotions and also has physical poweress to back it up. I didn't like the way NYI took advantage of us. 6 more games, right?, are coming up against them. 8 more games against Washington.
You will have to give up a lot for PLD. The offer from a team like Minnesota will most likely be astronomical.
I don't see a good match between Minnesota and Columbus. Columbus will be looking for young players who can play now. I doubt Minnesota would be willing to trade either Fiala or Kaprisov, and after those two, is there really anything that will interest Columbus?
His politics is his business. Just because it’s not what you believe doesn’t make it or him ridiculous. This is a hockey site not politics. Why are you pissed about his "ridiculous politics". He's not your friend. He's a hockey player.
Once again, who knows what the "bigger stage" means. From what I've read, PLD had just bought a house from Columbus. Doesn't sound like the problem is with the city itself. Also, PLD has made it known he wants a 'big stage'.
not happening Minnesota. Next.

Bigger stage might simply mean "I want to go to a team where I can get more points in a more offensive system" = bigger contract.
