Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Just my 2 cents but kreider should not be the captain. He goes invisible in games for long stretches. Great player but I don’t think he’s captain material. It’s either Mika or we are going to wait a few years for one of the young guys to step up

Heard Brian Burke on NHL radio around noon. He was saying that his contacts in the Networks said that the NHL Finals must be completed by July 15th at the latest. Playoffs start in May. Season prob won't start before Feb 1. Camps open around the Jan 15 mark.
Thats his projection.

What bettman and the nhl owners have cooked up here right before camp is supposed to start is a disgrace. Basically reneging on a good faith collectively bargained agreement not 5 months old. While the nba just released a preseason schedule. A league that ended after ours did. The nhl is in the middle of a labor dispute AGAIN. Just shameful what they’re doing right now. Shameful.

They had a rotation of zib kreider fast and Staal, and when they were hurt Trouba was the A. They weren't gonna hand it to him as soon as he got here over guys who were here for a while, so whats your point? He was an alternate captain last year and it wouldn't surprise me if he was named captain.

Half of those guys are gone so I’m guessing Trouba takes one of those spots going forward.
my point is that you are trying to make a false narrative about how the rangers put the A on zibanejad and kreider who were alternate captains but didn't put one on trouba who was NOT is a sign that he's gonna be the captain. the fact that he was the guy that filled in when others were hurt, means he is likely the next in line to be named alternate captain but he was never an alternate captain
