I don’t seen the point of moving Buch out and Kreider to RW if it makes the bottom six worse by proxy.

Either way Strome needs to be the first domino to fall. Once the Rangers know what to do with Strome, they will have a better idea of how to assemble this.

I don’t hate the idea of 11F/7D at this point either. A lot to figure out though.

hence “like” Kreider and that means others too have to fill the void. Kreider to RW i’m guessing is only so Laf plays on line two. Buch at 25 yrs of age could be in position for a significant raise. Cap position looks better yet i’m not sure if Buch is long term. Kraskov needs future position.

Kreider has played enough right wing that they know he can, also, he best get used to it because if not he's gonna be looking at 3rd line duties with Lafreniere and Panarin on the left side. I think the fact that someone is gonna have to change sides is the biggest reason for not signing Fast imo.

I actually would love to see the 13-72-24 young gun line, three kids at totally different stages and man did Kakko look good with Chytil. All three sheltered, I can dream.

I'd say Kreider could probably do that a bit more, but I feel like it's been somewhat phased out of his game.

I've always been somewhat surprised that Lindgren doesn't end up in more scraps than he does.

Smith has elements of that in his game.

Never been Kreider's role and I don't think anyone wants Kreider to start now while he's still in top-6.

I wouldn't mind Lemieux (and it would add a dimension to his contribution) but again - it hasn't been his role yet.

Well we know KZB works and we know Panarin-Stome works. Since your lineup has neither there are more question marks around compatibility.

NHL 14 was the last good NHL game in the series, NHL 21 is better than last years edition, EASHL got much better

Well, luckily Chytil and Kakko are still very very young, I just think it's unfair to close the book on that experiment.

I also think Laf paired with one of them on his line would possibly help boost either Chytil or Kakko into that next level.

These combos are going to be so much fun to watch, I believe that. Too much skill all over.

I have only see Chytil look good with Kreider. No one else. Kakko...it is hard for me to think of what his best spot is. Ideally you want to get him on a line he can drive and cook a bit on, but yeah. I hated him with Chytil and I wouldn’t put him with Lafreniere either. Maybe Kakko is the one that should be on the first line? Hard to say.

If you are designing lines like teams did in the 90s then that’s different. But arguably having Panarin on one line, and Zibby as a second and then ?-Chytil-Buch/Kreider on the 3rd gives us 3 quality lines to roll with

But taking Panarin away from strome would ensure that you can't have 3 good lines.
