I remember I read a post saying Rangers intend to make Laf a center. Cant remember who posted it. Do we now if the intention is to do this right away?
I think that our RDs should stay at RD.
Can Lafrienere play one game before we anoint him first line ready?I'd just put Kreider on the 3rd now for leadership.
Laf-Mika-Buch
Panarin-Strome-Kakko
Kreider-Chytil-Gauthier/Kravtsov
Spreads out your youth/vets and I'd like to see teams deal with the size and speed of that third line with their third pair D.
Whew. Was worried.Guys I just wanted to assure everyone LAFRENIÈRE Mika Kreider line is dominant. Just proved in on NHL21 case closed
If anything we should be mourning for you, no way NHL 21 is worth the 60 bucks you paid hahaGuys I just wanted to assure everyone LAFRENIÈRE Mika Kreider line is dominant. Just proved in on NHL21 case closed

ehhh I’ve pissed away 60 bucks on less than 20 mins worth of enjoyment before.
Lindy. Ruff.Yeah but basically all of those minutes came last year.
He handled what he was given well. I don't know why he didn't get more time over guys who clearly can't kill penalties.
This never happened.
He was asked if he would be open to the idea and he said he would be.
Weren't the Rangers fifth in the league in goals scored per game last year? Yes the third line was not scoring a lot but the first two lines were definitely doing their jobs pretty well.If Kreider is on the right, then the left is not as strong either. This is a team that had big problems with secondary scoring. I don’t think it’s a great idea.
I would much rather they put Kreider with Chytil and Lafreniere with Strome than have a scenario where Lemieux is 3LW. The Rangers having a lot of forward depth is a myth. The guys that would contribute to this are not ready yet.
Yes and no. I mean the Rangers were definitely top heavy, and could afford to be more balanced. Obviously this might sound a bit silly because I am suggesting putting Zibanejad and Panarin together, but 3 of the top 5 forwards on the team are LW. Zibanejad is the only C that can be reliably counted on. I am advocating spreading out the LWs to help out the bottom six.Weren't the Rangers fifth in the league in goals scored per game last year? I mean, maybe he did read it. Anyway, yeah... it doesn't happen anymore that newly drafted r0und pegs are forced into square holes... I bet if they're kicking ass, they'll experiment around All-Star break, whenever it is. I think at first (even with injuries), you'd sooner see Blackwell as 2C than Lafreniere any C.This never happened.

OK, here's something we can actually talk about today. I PMed Uncle Larry and asked if the 40/70 games played in the NHL requirement for players to be exposed in the expansion draft might me changed. He replied "Yes, that's on the agenda." I also sent the same PM to Steve Kouleas (although he usually doesn't answer) but he does have Bill Daly on today at 5 EDT so it may come up.
it all depends on what Gauthier and Kakko show out out camp, but my instinct would be
13-93-12
10-72-89
20-16-24
on the plus side that’s mad balance. On the downside there’s almost no chance that all those combinations find chemistry.

Sure, but that pretty much speaks to just dominant Panarin and ZBad were. Not that the other pieces were not good around them, but those two just dominated play.Weren't the Rangers fifth in the league in goals scored per game last year? Clearly. This looks a lot like last year when the Army of Kakko descended on anyone who right after the draft didn't deem him to be a lock for 50 points.
