For just $7,650,000 more for 6 more years, we could have had Pietrangelo instead of JMFJ smh

If that’s true, I’d inquire about Reaves and McNabb, solve Vegas’ issues and solve the Rangers’
He’s 29 already and sigh for 5 more seasons IIRC. Seems like classic bad Rangers dman contract in the near future. I’d stay way.
Yeah I enjoyed it more than I expected to without being into all that. Good food around, cool quirky small businesses once you get out of the downtown, lots of interesting folks. I don’t think it’s a terrible city or anything like that, but if you have a choice of anywhere it’s a surprising choice imo - so much of the downtown is consumed with the tourist and casino stuff, a lot moreso than other cities imoHoly Amnesty Buyout Batman! That's definitely something GM and KM will have to clean up in 3-4 years.
@haveandare Vegas is an underrated city from what I've heard. People who go there and stay out of the casino areas love it.
So the Rangers will have $4.8MM in space with 22 players signed if Geo, ADA, Lemiuex and Strome cost $14MM combined.
This includes Bitetto, PDG, Rooney and Blackwell (based off cap friendly)
No, they won't. That number has to be reduced by the 3.95 mil in bonus penalties.
I’m willing to bet that Columbus has a fat 9 mil contract lined up for him.I think Vegas wound up bidding against themselves with this contract. Did McFee forgot no state tax in Nevada? Easily could have shave $1.0-$1.2m and still beat any competing offers on after-tax basis in this market.

how is this the best they can get?!
I think for them they only cared about the cap space. In it to win it right now. That’s a disgustingly awful deal for Vegas
For a player like Schmidt, I think they could find the difference between his salary and what DeAngelo would get.But do the Rangers have the money?
