Love Strome as a locker room guy but don't want the Rangers to go over 5 per with term and that's kind of stretching it already.

His camp is most likely looking at around 6 per with term.

If it doesn't work out, I hope we at least get a high 2nd for him.

The thing is, I don't think he'd get more than 5 million in arbitration on a one year deal, and barring a big trade we dont know about thats fine with the cap situation.

Lundkvist for Krebs

Lundkvist is one of the best prospects in the NHL and is trending upwards. If he is in a deal I want it for a stud NHL center or top tier center prospect. Not comfortable enough with Krebs straight up.

He's a high energy 4th liner with SOME scoring touch. I'm not saying he's a world beater, just that he has some familiarity

Why not? Kopitar plus Byfield, Vilardi, Turcotte, Kupari. They aren't keeping all of them. We have loads of assets to make it worthwhile.

He was a center when he came into the league and he's listed as such pretty much everywhere because of it. His best hockey came on the RW though. That's when he really broke out in Minnesota.

Could be. But like it or not, wearing one or not draws a VERY strict line in NY these days, and they know it. Mistake. Even if that were true, decision went into it and he could've worn it just for the draft.

Most of his decisions have been excellent. This one was irresponsible. JD was 3-4 feet away with a mask. It looked like a 2020 rendition of the Last Supper.
