Even better. Yeah, he had SWAG as a kid amongst men in Finland. We saw some of that in the Carolina series for sure.

I'll also never forget the first time he met Jack Hughes on the ice and had him in a headlock.

If we get a good LD in here via trade and you think if K'Andre makes the team, K'Andre would be the 7th with full Quinn treatment?

I suppose. I just f*cking hate smith, though admittedly he looked a little better with troubda running the show on the pair.

nobody is getting 10 mil anymore. That Lehner contract is going to be the standard.
 
Someone started a thread on the Trade board because the Kings are looking for a stop-gap LD. Same boat as the Rangers. Leddy (2 x 5.5M) and Gostibehere (3 x 4.5M) came up a lot. Ironically so did Yandle and Skjei. Hard to see any of them as realistic options for the Rangers.

There is no doubt Smith has been a big disappointing. Gorton made a blunder by giving him that contract Off a small sample size. But I give Smith credit for at least being able to fill in on the 4th line and obviously in defense. I do think he played a little better later on in the season. Gorton has not had a great track record when it comes up giving big contrasts to defensemen(Skjei,Shattenkirk, Smith). Trouba hasn’t been bad I did expect more from him given the contract we gave him

I still think Andy Greene would be a valuable piece for this team and serve as a calming influence playing with tony or Trouba for a year. He did a nice job for the islanders. Think Martin would find him very useful. If we truly are looking for stop gap kind of player and that does make sense with the kids coming you could do a lot worse

Gut feeling, but I think we see Lemieux sign in short order.

Yeah honestly there are a ton of guys who I'd take at league minimum to fill that role.
