He's trolling but it's a poorly kept secret the Rangers are interested in Eichel and he's probably interested in themBrooks trolling? or there's actually smoke?

If it’s from Ottawa it better be their second rounder. Even if he is awarded 4.5 we can afford that for a year or two. I still would like to start Chytil at 3C this year and ease him into 2c following yearmaybe he's a goner already... 2nd rounders in route..
but yeah, still qualify

I guess that means they have other 2C irons in the fire that they want to see how they develop before Tuesday.
FWIW
Who’s the 2c you’re thinking about?It’s gonna make the 1st round interesting
Trade 22 for a 2C then Strome for a 2nd ?
FWIW
But what if the rest of the league has his number? ~4 million is a lot for a player like Strome if you don’t also have a Panarin on your roster for him to put up decent numbers with.he has trade value, so even if they do it still makes zero sense.
FWIW
Everyone knows the Phil Collins version is superior

You had it right
IM JOKING
If I was running the Sabres I would ask for Lafreniere. The Ranger want Eichel and Buffalo knows it.
No reason not to ask, even if the answer is no
Losing Strome for nothing would be....bizarre.
I’m not totally against Haula
Haula would be ok as a 3C not a 2C. He's also pillow soft, so there's that...
Not qualifying Strome makes no sense. At a 1-year deal what is the risk?
For some reason I think Eichel is getting traded, IDK why.
Talk about non qualifying Strome could be a signal to the league about how available he is. If they are this serious then there have to be other things going on and that involves acquiring a replacement and weaponizing all of this cap space they suddenly have. Very interesting.
