Ohf*** I'd love that.I hope Marc Staal comes back as an employee and opens up a pirate themed rum bar inside MSG
If today has taught me anything it's that if we can find a taker for Marc Staal then there's a deal out there for Henrik Lundqvist as well.
Hank at 50% is definitely tradeable.Henrik makes what? 3 million more than Staal?

He does but this trade is... I mean... we didn't retain ANY salary and Hank is still a better goalie than Staal is a defenseman at this point. I'm stunned that anyone took him on.
What are the odds Detroit’s buys out Staal and the. Nyr bring him back next season? Similar to wash/avs & orpik?

I haven't heard that. Dreger said yesterday there's "no trade interest".Weren't there rumors that we have a buyer for Hank but he won't waive?

Always liked him. Pain in the ass but a skilled pain in the ass and a good team player. Underrated in my opinionYou know who I wish the rangers had traded for? Nazem kadri...a guy I wanted last year...sigh
Don’t ruin a good thing. That would be so stupid. What are the odds Detroit’s buys out Staal and the. Nyr bring him back next season? Similar to wash/avs & orpik?
Would rather keep Lundqvist one more year and trade Georgiev to recoup the asset we sent to Detroit.
I think it makes it less complex. The obvious move now is to trade Georgiev. It would be insane to buy out Hank now.The "cap woes" buyout crowd have just lost their argument. If anything, I think this makes the Rangers goalie situation even more complex. Strange days indeed.
