@Amazing Kreiderman what are you seeing that I'm not on Gostisbehere?
Just dont see Morgan Rielly as a good defenseman. Yea he had one great offensive season while having a ton of offensive talent around him. He isnt very good on the defensive side of the puck. He is 26 years old and 2 years away from UFA status which he will be looking for another big payday. It would be a piss poor job of maximizing the value of RHD Tony DeAngelo as you plan for next year and the following years, while getting a lesser valued player, all in one trade
Change the 2 to a 3 and how much of that paragraph applies to DeAngelo?Just dont see Morgan Rielly as a good defenseman. DeAngelo is not 36 years old, come on now.Change the 2 to a 3 and how much of that paragraph applies to DeAngelo?
Younger, RHD, more years of control. All factors that make his value exceedingly higher than Rielly. I would also argue his trajectory is much more on the rise for the coming seasons but thats just my opinion, although I think you would find many who would agree thereChange the 2 to a 3 and how much of that paragraph applies to DeAngelo?
I haven't seen his long form birth certificate. Have you?DeAngelo is not 36 years old, come on now.
Always knew you were a DeAngelo BirtherI haven't seen his long form birth certificate. Have you?
Koivu was a great heart and soul player for many years but he was a healthy scratch for much of the season in Minnesota. He almost certainly will retire.
I'm afraid my software does not have the capacity to answer this question. So how old am I?
So how old am I? I cut Roy Sommer as a player many years ago. Talked to him years later and he reminded me what a mistake I made. Great, fun guy.
@Edge nothing new to share I would assume? All seems quiet since that wealth of info you provided on pretty much every front.
Love it. We’re moving the best player in the deal by far but these guys are off the table because they’re cheap.Apart from Studnicka, I think Beecher would come to mind with a lot of adds but I don't think Boston offers a lot as far as prospects. Can't see Studnicka or even Vaakanainen being moved... assuming they'll need them for cap purposes down the road.
Maybe we can get Bracco. If we play our cards right and catch the Leafs in a generous mood.No way NYR can get Rielly the Leafs love him
Listening to Leafs Lunch got me thinking...
TDA for Morgan Rielly. Let me preface this by saying I think TDA is underrated on here and I've always been lukewarm on Morgan compared to his rep. But I think the swap of the RD for the LD could help both teams and the extra years of cap control for Tony could be attractive to the leafs.
