I know his name came up a number of times during the whole McDonagh thing but I feel like it came up again at some point somewhat recently. Then again I might just be mixing up the timeline. Maybe it was when people were speculating about Kreider going to Boston with an extension? That was all fan-side though.
He's not the player he used to be and there's no real incentive for him to leave Minnesota just to play for a team that has almost no chance of playing for a cup next season.

He's probably looking at retirement. even if he chooses to play next year it's to have one more chance at a Stanley Cup, which makes the Rangers an unlikely destination.

Sure if they want Trouba. Seriously tho why would we want him? Has history of injuries no? And the Panthers would need a boatload back since they have pretty much nothing else defensively. So get ready to give up quite a bit of young assets
makes sense but he was the interm coach so I doubt much turnover although they need youth something Rangers have but Sharks are too old unless a guy like Hertl or Meier up front are available then no thanks

I meant more along the lines of picking up and moving his personal life. I think he's likely going to retire unless a contender comes forward and makes him a strong offer.

TDA for Morgan Rielly. Let me preface this by saying I think TDA is underrated on here and I've always been lukewarm on Morgan compared to his rep. But I think the swap of the RD for the LD could help both teams and the extra years of cap control for Tony could be attractive to the leafs.
