Strome and Georgiev and 22 for 9?
I do it
Strome and Georgiev and 22 for 9?
But if Hank is gone and Georgie is traded (which I'm sure is not gonna return what many Ranger fans think he will return) who is our backup for next year? What if Shesty goes down for 2-3 weeks? kiss the season goodbye?
Webster
Once it is legal to do so the Rangers HR department should bring him to Astoria where the streets are filled with young people his age going about their daily lives doing what young people do. You wouldn’t know there is a pandemic going on here.
Astoria, Queens is a neighborhood of NYC that has a large population of young people who work in Manhattan ( and WFH). It has bars, cafes and diverse restaurants. Despite the Covid 19 virus the town is still very active. Whatever Alex
Galchenyuk is looking for outside of hockey he will be able to find it there. They even have a Hymalayan Restaurant.it was reported in The NY Times that if you ate it a different eatery each day in Astoria you wouldn’t be able to eat in all their restaurants in a year. Astoria has at least two outdoor beer gardens one dating back to 1918. Alex Is 26 and single. I believe if he was to visit NYC and the Rangers staff was to include Astoria , Little Odeyssa and other neighborhoods in a tour, it would be an attractive selling point for the UFA rather than playing overseas.
If the market is anticipated to be flooded, any chance the Rangers don’t make Strome an offer?

Galchenyuk doesn’t need to be wooed. He should be thankful for any NHL contract offer he receives.
And Astoria might be cool for us peons, but a young NHL millionaire athlete is not hanging out there.
less than zero...why would you let a RFA walk that you could trade if you don't want him?
Hey look, Drury didn't seem to build up any animosity from the organization for taking the buyout before retiring as the bold speaks to his exact situation.
will the market be so saturated the trade market is dried up? Speculating what may happen with revenues low and the threat of teams being sold, etc.
the trade market won't be zero which is what you'd get for not qualifying him
Unforunatey, possibly lowering Georgiev’s value. There are going to be a lot of goalie options on the market this off season
Oh man that’s a tough one. I guess would depend on who’s Left on the board At #9Strome and Georgiev and 22 for 9?
i think a lot of teams are looking to drop payroll. Is Strome going to accept a $2 million dollar offer from the Rangers? What will the market be? Lost revenue, flat cap and owners rumored to be selling teams.
This might be an ugly market for those not under contract. Many may not be offer much
Haha. I figured I’d Have to take a beating.you should be banned for summoning him
KhodorenkoWe should sign him for league minimum so we can play him with Khodorenko on the "undercover line"
$2 million? Where did you get this? Whatever system spit this out - reboot.
Strome will come in around 5 million for a year is my guess. You hope he can put up 50+ points again leeched to Panarin, and then retain 50% on him at the deadline to the highest bidder
I think that is too much to give up to move up 13 spots. And it opens up some holes in the roster.Strome and Georgiev and 22 for 9?

It’s gonna be a weird market for sure.will the market be so saturated the trade market is dried up? Speculating what may happen with revenues low and the threat of teams being sold, etc.
Shitty post. Dave Diehl is a great guy. He was my brothers roommate at Illinois when my bro got a full ride. He even stayed at his house for Christmas and thanksgiving when my mom didn’t have the money for a plane ticket to come home for the holidays. Dave didn’t want my bro to be alone in dorms for holidays by himself and my bro and a couple guys stayed with him because his house wasn’t to far away near Chicago. Dave’s father had passed away and he was also going thru a divorce. It was a rough stretch for him for a couple years. Not saying he didn’t like to party lol but I’ve met him 5-6 times and he is a great guy. My bro still goes out to dinner with him Brandon Moore and a couple other guys from his Illini days that also didn’t go to the NFL like my bro. But Dave is a gentleman. Just a lil backgroundDavid Diehl of the Giants enjoyed himself here.
