I like the strategy (make the fourth line tougher to play against) but not enamored of the tactic. There are better, cheaper options to accomplish same.
Go get Casey Czikas... he should be available at the deadline or wait and continue working with Howden ...we have a year or a few more months before deadline nears to see how things are shaking out in our organization.Where?
When's the last time this team even had a competent 4th line center?
Boyle?

Yeah, but it's a lot harder that way. And making that type a priority in the draft doesn't seem to pay off at a high rate.
DeAngelo is an elite offensive right shot 24 year old former first round pick Dman
he’s on his 3rd team and for some reason that team is shopping him around. Add in He has a very public And polarizing reputation that proceeds him
and we’re wondering why he may not be attractive to other teams? This worries me. This is why I was complaining about the podcast. I don’t think any of this stuff is attractive to anyone in a very conservative league that hates big personalities
Strome and CAR pick for William Karlsson?
If Lundqvist retires Nylander for the #22 and Kravstov would be interesting. Likely would need another piece going to the Leafs.
Martin is not a centerWhere?

Martin is not a center
Why is it interesting?I can't say I would be surprised if the major interest on Tony isn't there right now. He's got a lot of factors that come together and his value is tough to pinpoint because of it.
We may not like it but I'm sure there are GMs who think he's a PP specialist and not much else. I think that's an oversimplification of his skills but that's just how these teams are.
The Gostisbehere comparison is an interesting one. What was that guy worth the season after he scored 65?
I haven't looked at advanced stats which I believe has been mentioned Tony is better but they're similar-ish playersWhy is it interesting?
So if ADA stays, Strome and/or Buch should go. I’m good signing ADA long term if he’ll take a decent contract.
OMG DOES IT MEAN "LUNDQVIST BYE BYE!?!?"
