That being said I don’t think TDA for Laine is extreme or anything though. Tony has a lot of value and Laine is very good but very flawed. They have a lot of talented wingers as is, they’re gonna have to make a choice between Ehlers/Connor/Laine, and I don’t think it’s ridiculous to believe they could choose to trade Laine out of that group.

And like I said, Tony is probably the best player offer they’d receive. We may have to add on our side, but I think we have the pieces to pull off a trade like that.

Laine is worth enough more than ADA that you could honestly pull off a 3 way trade with a C or LD coming to the Rangers if Winnipeg was that stupid.
