I'll be quite upset if we don't trade Strome and Buchnevich, given what these lesser players are netting. I also want Howden off this team (because he sucks and they should make room for Barron). They should trade Smith and perhaps Georgiev. Reunanen and Kinkaid can replace them.

Rangers aren't in a rush to trade Strome or Buch. If they do go that route, it will be in the offseason when there is likely more of a market. There is just no cap space anywhere right now and teams aren't looking to take on any term currently.

There is literally no rush to move either player. They shouldn't make a trade just to make a trade. They will regret it.

Tony DeAngelo - no explanation needed
Brett Howden - because he's awful and they could make room for Barron


Players they should shop and see what they can get

Ryan Strome - given what these lesser players are netting, I have little doubt we could, at the very least, get a Hayes-esque return.
Pavel Buchnevich - ditto
Brendan Smith - frees cap space and we can bring up Reunanen
Alex Georgiev - Kinkaid can be the backup
Colin Blackwell - sell high? I wonder what a team would offer for him.

I don't trade Buchnevich unless it's in a package to get a much better player and he's pretty damn good this season.
His PPGA/60 of just 3.91 is absolutely insane.

Would look to trade Kreider and Blackwell.
