The Savard trade is:

To Tampa: Savard (From CLB) and Lashoff (From DET)

To Columbus: 2021 1st and 2022 3rd (From Tampa)

To Detriot: 2021 4th (From Tampa)

The expansion draft is not gonna hurt us at all. The core is almost entirely exempt.

Idk why, but I just looked up Ty Ronning's birthplace. Right at that Seattle border.

Would that be a good pick by the Kraken?

I could see a Fleury for Bennett deal going down and then Carolina not qualifying Bennett. The teams have experience with deals in the past. Calgary needs d-men beyond this year and Fleury is kind of in the spot where he needs to develop it he will just settle in to an okay 3rd pairing d-man. Bennett fits the way Carolina wants to play. Just seems like a fit there.

imagine if the Rangers do nothing thinking they got a good chance with 5 pts back

Would not surprise me at all (for the recordi don't think we'remaking the playoffs and it's been evident for a while).
My assumption is the Rangers are targeting the draft to make most of their moves

I would say there is a 80% of this being the case.

The are no traditional pieces to sell this year. Your best trade chips i.e Buchnevich and Strome are both controlled past this season and there’s no reason to make a trade unless it’s a great deal

Standing pat and letting the chips fall as they may for this season to reasses in the summer is probably the right move

You think a Tony DeAngelo trade could happen at the wire
