I think Laff needs to sit a few games. Let him watch guys like Rooney and Blackwell compete up and down the ice with a combined half the talent Laff has. I saw him joking on the bench last night, not the worst thing but not a great look when you're invisible most nights. Someone needs to light a fire under his ass.

Not opposed to him sitting and watching and being outright told he’s not working hard enough on the ice. Having said that, I don’t ever buy the ides that someone looking human and not beating themselves up 24/7 is a bad look. People deal with things differently.

No, for sure. No need to beat yourself up, I agree but he needs to get going. But I just don't see any fire from him, maybe that's his personality and that's fine but I feel like if he got a little more engaged and stuck his nose into the ugly parts of the ice, he'd have a little more to show for his season thus far.

He had 74 games of .912 hockey before this season, they're going to assume that this is a slump and that he will have to return to form eventually.

Whether that's true or not remains to be seen, but if Shesty isn't ready I'm 99% sure it'll be him.

He had 74 games of .912 hockey before this season, they're going to assume that this is a slump and that he will have to return to form eventually.

Whether that's true or not remains to be seen, but if Shesty isn't ready I'm 99% sure it'll be him.

2 bad weeks don't change the fact that Georgiev is still a capable backup. Kinkaid isn't all of a sudden better because Georgiev had some bad games.

A lot of our NCAA prospects have had a seamless transition into the pros the past few seasons, but kids out the CHL and European leagues have generally had a difficult time adjusting. There's a culture problem in there somewhere.

It is probably just the NCAA prospects, on average, are older.

That is very true...hit somebody or whatever...but make somebody notice in the right way that you are out there even if you don't put up a goal or an assist every shift...get a piece of somebody and get into the game and get some blood pumping and emotions working ....feel good bout yourself when you come back to the bench .

We have to go with Rocky George . At the very least we need him to snap out of the doldrums and win one for us or lose...depending on what you prefer....he is quite capable of providing the latter for sure .

Yes, slumps happen. Kinkaid is a fun story but Georgiev is far batter and it’s really not even close.

It’s fine to sit him a few and let him work with the goalie coaches, go over tape etc. But there is no doubt he’s a better option than Kinkaid ultimately

No one is saying that Kinkaid is a better goalie. Not long term. But right now, he is letting in beach balls. That is how bad he has been playing that right now Kinkaid seems to be the better option.
