9.7% chance of making the playoffs...
I'm just saying... We've hit on worse odds before
IIRC, Brady Skjei had 39 points as a rookie, not...3 points.
I want Lemieux to be protected but I want him to stop playing a neutered game. And leave him on 4th line and let him do his thing. Stop the shuffling for god sakes. I also want Barron to Make 4th RW. Then go out and sign a guy like Lowry or trade for Bennett. Both good on face offs, both play with snarl. It would also insulate the third line in case of injury both those guys would have no problem moving up for a couple of games. Those are the kind of impact 4th line C I’m talking aboutBreadd - Zib - Buchnevich
Kreider - Strome - Kravtsov
Laf - Chytil Kakko
For me, it's just that fourth line that's suspect. Lemmy, Howden, Gauthier, Blackwell (should be more top-9), Rooney...
Originally I was thinking Lemmy should be protected for expansions. Now I feel like there's no point in bothering.
I don’t really care about playoffs this year I just want to see improvement from kids
This.
And to be honest we could use another high pick.
Yep. Let's win 2 more lotteries to piss off every other fanbase.
Need rule changes!!!

well yeah but i doubt he'll become available like Eichel willGive me Barkov over Eichel
That's a face of "I'm excited about coming to New York, but I'm terrified of playing on a line with Howden"
O/U 15 games until his first point?
Give me Barkov over Eichel
Sure he will. Our RW depth chart is Buch, Kakko, and a bunch of people who can’t stay in the lineup. Blackwell, Gauthier are going to deny Krav a spot? Krav won’t do well playing with one of Panarin/Laf/Kreider and one of Zib/Chytil/Strome?You think he will play 15 games?
You can’t get value for Strome now. Why trade a player who is contributing? What could we get for Strome? A second rounder plus a prospect ala Grabner? A Hayes return?
Waive Howden
Skjei needed the kick in the ass to force him to realize he’s not Ray Bourque.Yea I’ve been watching. Brindy is definitely making skjei make the most of his physical tools. But he’s also putting him in a position to succeed which is half the battle. He loves Fast too. You can tell
The Buffalo Sabres will be without captain Jack Eichel for what coach Ralph Krueger called "the foreseeable future" in delivering yet another blow to a team in the midst of a nine-game skid.
The injury is not considered season-ending, though Krueger on Saturday was unable to provide a fixed timetable on how much time Eichel will miss.
"An injury of this nature needs more assessment and more time to understand it," he said. "We just know that it will be some time here from shorter all the way to what you've already mentioned [season-ending], but it's somewhere in between that."
