You can't compare the Nash deal to Eichel. Nash kinda forced his way to NY and there wasn't any competition.

Eichel will have half the teams in the league on this. That alone will drive up the price.

There will be plenty of interest, but factoring in Eichel's 5 yr x $10M contract and the acquisition price will limit the number of suitors. Half the league is generous, IMO.

I’m assuming the deal would include Suzuki plus plus. Maybe even Throw Danault who I know sucks offensively. Obviously the salary going back and forth would be an issue but I’m sure could be figured out

2020/2021 Buch stock is rising big time. I know it's not an extraordinary sample size, but wouldn't he be on pace for 70+ over 82 right now? Beast season, really stepped up when the whole team imploded.

Montreal scares me with their means to get Eichel as well as LA - BUT we have the D pieces + Chytil.
