I'd be out on this hill if it were Torts, Strome, Nash or Glass.holy f*** tonys pre school club just don’t know when to stop
Or keep a puck in at the blue line if he was using the broad side of a barn as his stick.Trouba can't hit the broadside of a barn with a shot from the point.
I for one would love to see Reaunanen be called up very soon.C'mon no one wants to talk about something else for a change??![]()

So, shifting conversational gears, how long is Reaunanen going to have to play well in Hartford to earn a callup?
It's unknown. I think the real question is what is he not consistently doing that would keep him from moving up?
Hard to know. Could just be a log jam with the big club. Could be they want him to fine tune his D-zone play and coverage. So, I wonder if there's anything more invisible that the coaches are working with him on.
But his outlet passing, anticipation and offensive instincts are strong. Makes some really great breakout passes. Good transition game player.
If he were up, he would likely be the 2nd best QB D after Adam Fox. Just good vision, good passer, good skater.
The positives of keeping him in HFD for a bit longer...
1. Bitetto gets enough games to be exposed.
2. Hajek continues to grow his confidence and game. That's a big help regardless of wherever he is playing come next season.
3. Tarmo continues to get top minutes down there.
The downside...
He likely won't want to play down there for entire season. He is likely making far less money in HFD.
Bottom line is, he is an NHL caliber D at this point. What kind of NHL D he is now or will be in the future is another matter.
This was fun.
Ray Rice got caught on video attacking his wife in an elevator. These incidents are not the same. Nor should they be looked at as equally bad predicaments. There’s no video of anything Tony did.
JJ coming in for Tony B or Hajek would be despicable and is a microcosm of this shitty league’s mentality
I'm hoping on the ice means in practice. Our 3rd pairing has been so much better since that waste of space hasn't played on it.
I'm sure he will play again eventually, but Smith is returning and I don't get the impression that Miller's injury is long term, so he will have to beat out both Hajek and Bitteto for a spot.
That Hajek Bitteto pair stinks, and they have had the benefit of playing all their games with Quinn having last change.
Hopefully Miller is good and then Smith draws in for one of them.
I’ve still yet to see Tony explain why his GM waived him and publicly said “he wasn’t able to get over being scratched the 2nd game of the season”.
I guess if I was 25 years old, being constantly tossed by teams despite obviously talent bc I had such behavioral issues I would want the discussion to be about Adam Herman’s reputation and not mine.
The same posters constantly carrying about his reputation and justice seem to be really only focused in on the sideshow and never address the real issues he caused. I wonder why that is.
