He isnt even better than Chytil, who is currently our 3C behind Strome and Zib. Im sure he doesnt have Claude Lemieux searching for a change of scenery so that he could end up on our 4th line. I just dont really see a match. Unless we're getting him for like Howden or Gauthier it just doesnt make much sense. Something would have to give in the bottom 6 for Roslovic to even get appropriate ice time.

He wants out of Winnipeg like every other American guy on that team

Allegedly Roslovic really wants to play in Columbus but we’ll see if that happens

I would swap out Strome for Roslovic and promote Chytil to 2C.

Also, the big 4 need new deals in 3 consecutive off-seasons.

Shestyorkin in 2021
Kakko and Fox in 2022
Lafrenière in 2023

I would be shocked if those 4 don't combine for at least 25m

in all seriousness does chytil kratsov strome and a 1st get you PLD AND something you can flip to peg to add roslovic as the 3c?

or does nils, kratsov and strome land you PLD? do you still need to add a player like zac jones? Really no clue what Jarmo is going to do now, his organization is at a crossroads now if PLD wants out and his two stud D menbeing able to walk soonish

I know times have changed... but that's our 'checking' line.

One of the reasons we're not good defensively. We have too many top6 forwards. We lost Fast and added Barron. Our forward group is young and/or offensive minded. There needs to be some balance here.

Strome and Chytil as our middle 6 is very weak defensively. I think Chytil can develop into a good-great defensive player but he's still young

Times have changed, if you have an old school 3rd line you get throttled.

KZB is our matchup line (was one of the very best matchup lines in the league last year), the Panarin line is our offensive line (was the best offensive line in the league last year). All the bottom 6 needs to do is not get murdered in pretty cushy minutes (was the worst bottom 6 in the league last year in pretty cushy minutes).

That's all indicative of the center. KZB line is good because of Zibs. We need much better defensive play from the rest of our centers.

Have hope for Barron and hopefully Chytil develops ( on the defensive side of things )
