Haha my thoughts exactly.

yeah awesome, unproven prospect was best player for Finland. I will take 25 Year old Trouba every day of the week and twice on sunday for that pick. Cant wait for year two of Trouba.

I wonder how he will look in Martin's system.

@KreiderBomb @GAGLine You know me better than that: What answer do I expect to get? I'll tell you how the question I would ask or would be intelligent to ask:

Reunanen: He's played very well in Europe and a lot of minutes as compared to some of the other guys. Do you see the game shape and age as an advantage? Would you be comfortable playing him in a top four spot? Where do you see his progression from draft day and do you expect him to have a camp as good as he did last year?

Hajek: He's had an uneven go the last year and change. What does he have to do to make this team? Where do you want his game to improve from even as recently as the bubble? Do you think the other competition is starting to made themselves heard and pushing him a little bit to the backburner?

Robertson: How had he improved since the draft? Are you comfortable with playing with other relatively young RHDs? Would you rather he stay on the taxi quad than AHL?

If they offer generic answers it's fine, but to at least give some thoughts on their overall game and improvement and what the expect out of them I don't think is very controversial.

I had The Athletic subscription for two years and didn’t renew after it expired again. Not a fan of Carp and very rarely I’d see something there that I already haven’t seen here.

They aren't tipping their hand at this point. All those questions are valid, i wouldn't expect honest answers for them though until camp is over and even then the answers you get will be an attempt to motivate someone or guide them in a certain direction.

Serious questions out of--Prospect wise whom holds the most value ? Thinking out loud the list below should be close maybe Schneider over Reunanen with Robertson moving up fast.

Nils Lundkvist
K'Andre Miller
Tarmo Reunanen
Braden Schneider
Matthew Robertson
Zac Jones

Nice to think we have some very good young D-Man in the pipeline and the list doesn't even include ADA and Fox on the Rangers and Libor Hajek/ Rykov and a few others as most of these players are a cut below the top.

If the Rangers are looking to acquire a top player whom would you put on a package first to entice the other team ?

ADA with Nils replacing him. Or would most teams want Lundkvist because he would be cheaper. How about Miller big and a huge reach--he could/should turn into a top pairing D-Man.

Doesn't matter but it's great to know we have the ammo for a deal and the future looks very bright--hell we could even part with 2 players and still have a deep prospect pool with our D.

Nice list of players. But let's again remind the impatient among us that all will be inexperienced YOUNG defensemen who will make mistakes nd not be stars instantly.
