I would love to see Schneider in camp, but with him being at the WJC, it makes sense if he can't attend.

This may not be complete,
but 4-6 skaters and
waiver-eligible players need to clear waivers
(as if being assigned AHL)
to be assigned to TSquad

I don't understand why people care about numbers other than a handful of legends like Hank. What's so special about 27?

Thanks guys, much appreciated. So 6 slots past the 23. So we're looking at your top 29, with a bunch of ELCs that can be sent down.
Well, he also had until 5 PM today to sign his ELC for the contract to be slide eligible. So it's not happening now.
Great thanks... well that means he's probably going to be in juniors for the whole season. Can they bring him up as a taxi squad member at year's end?
Only if they want to burn a year of his ELC. I doubt they will.
By not signing him in 2020, they basically guaranteed that the clock starts ticking the moment his ELC kicks in, so even if they have him in the AHL for the entire 2021-22 season, the ELC will still burn a year

Got it thanks. Yeah I didn't expect him to play on the Rangers this year, but was curious if the new rules would allow some time on the taxi squad.
This is the first thing I thought of when I saw that roster lolHow about that pos Johnson wearing 27 f***
AK, this got me wondering, is there such a thing as an NHL ATO?
AK, this got me wondering, is there such a thing as an NHL ATO?
No. ATOs (college/junior) and PTOs (Euro) are only valid for minor league games.
I stand corrected. How did they get K'Andre on the practice squad without an NHL ATO?
Because the NHL made an exception to allow 1 non-roster player on the roster for training camp, but Miller wasn't allowed to travel to Toronto
