Unreal man! Amazing he was never really on our radar in. Especially when we started playing better in 2020 before the pause. I would listen every morning to Montreal radio hockey talk during november/december/January and listen to all the callers call in about how excited they were in having a good chance at Lafreniere and here we are he's coming to broadway.

This may be dumb but assuming Kakko pans out info like the idea of his size and play style making the Rangers “harder to play against” versus Hughes
Like maybe Hughs does turn out to be a better player I dunno but a big skilled player like Kakko could be a bigger help in the playoffs

This is why you sometimes have to root to tank. The chance that the Rangers would win the Cup was significantly less than the chance to win 1OA. Plus you pick earlier in the later rounds as well.

Rangers window is now opening up. It's a great time to be a fan of this team.

I’m fully expecting to suffer a massive heart attack tomorrow and die, moments before we select 1st overall.

I mean, my favorite NHL, NFL, MLB, and NBA teams has never had the 1st overall pick since I became a sports fanatic in 88-89. Except for the Mets in 94, but f*** that shit. It didn’t count.

I’m not surprised by that, this is just the first time I seen it mentioned lol. I know it was a really popular place back in the day. Unfortunately I’m only 30 so I got to experience Pacha instead. The bagel spot across the street was mint after leaving if you could actually eat it haha.

The weirdest thing to me was walking out of a club on a Sunday afternoon, and watching Church going families look at you and your group being blinded by the sunlight like a bunch of zombies.
