Wouldn't it then behoove the team to have Strome waiting in case Chytil falters versus Howden? Even for a single year?

not if you have to pay him 5 mil and play him on the third line where you know he doesn’t fit. I know people don’t like him but management loves Howden and I think a cheaper insurance center that actually is good defensively would make more sense If you aren’t playing Strome with Panarin
