She's bad but she's not even the worst on her show. It's incredible that WFAN can't find a single quality nuts and bolts sports talk host in ages.
They hire these people that know one sport well and maybe one other at an average level. It's embarrassing. I know for an absolute fact I have more knowledge than Benigno when it comes to ALL four sports.

I'm totally fine with keeping Strome for a year or two and adding an actual top 6 RW to their line. Be it Kakko or Buch, whoever fits in best.

Cap space is valuable. Stromes cap space is valuable. You need to see if Chytil is the guy. If he isn’t and you’ll know this year while playing with Panarin you have even more cap space next offseason to find that guy. Or at the deadline. Chytil’s analytics all say he’s heading for a breakout. He just needs the ice time with the top players. Again if dead wrong. At least you know it and have the money to find a 2C. Putting Strome there who you know you don’t want long term just blocks you from really knowing what you have.

Doesn't matter. He may not be a line-driver, but he certainly is a solid Robin to Panarin's Batman. Strome will be better if Kakko produces, as well.

The point is to make sure that you don't pay the Robins too much money. In that case you try find the next Robin and save cap space for Batmans.

WTF did I just type out.

Wouldn't it then behoove the team to have Strome waiting in case Chytil falters versus Howden? Even for a single year?

Where's Kreider? What has Chytil shown that he is ready for such an assignment?

I love Kreids, but with LAF and Panarin in the mix, Kreider is going to be getting used to being on the 3rd line. As for Chytil, my belief that he is ready for 2nd line duty comes from a combination of how well he played in the play-in series and how seamlessly he fit in centering Kreider and Buch when he covered for Zib's injury.

That’s a lot of words to say wait and see what happens

Yeah, but I think it’s important to keep a careful perspective on these things, because the viewpoint can often be the complete opposite.

I love getting info. I just don’t want to see a bunch of posters flipping out because the nature of that info being what it — of course — is.

If Strome were smart, he'd forego arbitration and accept his QO of one season without raise. Hopefully another season of Panarin inflated stats and then he hits UFA.

If he keeps f***ing around, he'll hit UFA now and the context will be that his team wouldn't even QO him.

I don’t know, but I just want to point out that there’s one Batman (okay, technically others have worn the mantle) but he has a flock of like 5 Robins in supporting roles. Maybe you have to find your Batman and then just get a bunch of good Robins.

This is not an actual argument. I’m just bored.

Habs sponsor is really called "RONA Inc?" That's a wild name

Wow, Domi’s value is much lower than expected or there’s something else included with Anderson.

Edit: holy crap... Habs ADDED to Domi for Anderson?

Aside from 38 points in 59 games, he’s never had less than 44 (this last season, in 70) and he had 72 ONE year ago. Anderson had his career high of 47 one year ago and had... 4 points this year. Domi is younger as well.
