I think the chances are good that we LTIR somebody....likely Lindgren in order for us to add another Dman once the Kane ordeal is finalized ? Anybody feasible ? What can we afford....what can we deal ? There likely will be last minute deals available . Maybe Drury saves his best for the last ....

If we put Lindgren on LTIR, he can't play against until March 19th or 21st. If we use that LTIR cap space, we will then have to waive someone to get under the cap when we activate Lindgren off LTIR, unless he's out for the rest of the year, which won't be the case.

Lindgren should sit for a bit though.

I'm 100% OK with Lindgren getting some 3rd pair games cutting back on his time

A warning that aging vets being imported here traditionally hasn't worked out and the return on Tarasenko isn't great so far.

I'm hoping they turn it around but they may not.

Tarasenko is definitely still adjusting, he has flashes where he looks like himself but yeah he's still got to get up to speed. I won't judge him too harshly yet.

I know the aging vet thing but I'm feeling real positive on Kane. The way he turned it on when he realized people around the league thought he was injured and washed, he still has it. He was playing with nobody in Chicago and now he gets to step in and play with Panarin, Mika, Trocheck, Kreider and Tarasenko in the top 6?

If anything you let him rest until the weekend or early next week and not rush him back, but thats probably it

May be able to keep Goodrow, depending on what Kane wants. Still hoping he takes a 'I just want to be here and win' contract, similar to Bergeron, Krejci and Giordano.

The LTIR stuff is wishful thinking. The only other move they can make post-Kane is adding a cheap D-man on a salary (retained or otherwise) that matches up with Harpur, who they can waive (no one is claiming him). They can recall him for the playoffs but at least hed be staying lose with Hartford.

Boeser will not terrorize us lol he sucks. If it weren't for his reputation based off of his rookie season he wouldn't be a household name. He's one of the most one dimensional players in the league, and usually that word describes a player who's fast, has hands, shot, playmaking etc but no defense. The only attribute Boeser has that's above league average is his wrist shot. He's slow, soft, has no hands, no defense, no vision, nothing
