If the Penguins are dumb enough to fire Sullivan because Tristan Jarry decided to have the worst playoff goaltending performance in nearly a decade, we should be all over him as our next HC. It’s a no brainer between hiring either him or Gallant.

Every single fanbase is going to complain about coaches not adjusting to what they think they should be doing. It’s not a real issue, especially when you look at the results Sullivan has gotten in Pittsburgh.

I can't believe I exist in the same universe as Pierre Mcguire, let alone Canadiens supporters who endorse Pierre for their GM job.
I am also a Habs fan and I don't want PEE-AIR anywhere near the Habs.

Adam Henrique a good option??? If the Ducks plan to move him.

Naw if the Rangers are moving Strome at least get someone around his cap hit that offers a different particular set of skills (physical, leadership, face offs).

Henrique is literally diet Strome with less production and a slightly higher cap hit. Malo, Malo, Malo.

Henrique is better defensively than Strome and a mile better on faceoffs. He'd certainly be a different center than what we currently have.

How would we characterize Mike Sullivan’s style as a head coach?

You heard it hear first. Pitt does what Philly did with Laviolette, and keeps Sullivan into the season only to whack him early so a rival can’t hire him.

I think a deal revolving around Buch and Ekholm makes sense for both teams.
Would love to add Ekholm and Jarnkrok. I’m looking at bottom 6 guys that are out there, there’s a bunch I would love on this team. Crouse, Copp, goodrow, Laughton, Hartman, Grant, Ryan, Christian Fischer might be an interesting reclamation project. Looks as if Hayton has fallen out of favor in Arizona. Would you guys do Buchnevich for Hayton+ Crouse? Tempting. Looks like the Yotes are going with Dvorak and Schmaltz as their top 2 centers. Seems like Hayton has fallen out of favor. Would he be excited to leave the desert for NY? Thoughts?
