I do get a chuckle out of people thinking Zibanejad is going to sign for like 4/5 years lol

he’s going to go for as many years as he can get, either here or elsewhere

Larry Brooks hinted at Jones being a possible showcase job for a trade this summer.

Would fit with the whole 'he's another year away' mystery of the timing of his signing.

Edge has said management think that Nils has the highest potential of the guys outside the NHL right now, but that it's because of that, and the depth behind him, that might make him the most enticing piece to return a real solid NHL player.

There's going to be a risk no matter what direction they go. And they will have to give to get. I like Robertson and Jones but if those are the two who are dealt for a real star player I won't be as disappointed as I would be if it was Lundkvist/Schneider.
I was surprised at how well Jones played. He’s got talent. Either a future Ranger or prime trade bait.

Lundqvist will have more value after he steps on NHL ice and shows what he can do. Even if Rangers don't plan on keeping him long term, this summer isn't the time to make a move with him.

Yep. I've been impressed, definitely belongs in the NHL. I'm sure he caught the eye of a lot of teams if he is trade bait.

My wife is considering the same surgery (conceptually since I don’t know which vertebrae of jacks are in question). For her it’s a nerve compression issue and there are 2 basic approaches depending on several factors, disc inserts or fusion. There are pros and cons but the point being is that we’re told there is a 6 month recovery period to resume contact athletic activity (my wife does martial arts), I imagine even more for pro hockey. Just sayin
Has she tried extensive physical therapy? Surgery should be a last resort.
