Eichel publicizing his injuries, I can guarantee you without the blessing of the team, tanks his value and is just a big old piss on the carpet.

Like, you might say a hit to his value is good news, but keep in mind that we're getting a puppy that pisses on the carpet.
why did he have to micturate all over the rug like that?

Athletic reports Eichel angry at Sabres.

Here it comes!
Throw them Mika -the 2 first rounders and Jones unless they want to make the deal bigger by adding another Sabre in which case we add somebody else . They then can flip Mika for a pick /prospect at the deadline...save us the misery and risk of him getting hurt where upon we get diddly squat for him .That gives them the equivalent of 3 first round picks and Jones and likely a prospect . That's enough of a haul for a soft C with a bad neck and attitude . If they say no....trade Mika for a first rounder and the prospect before he walks on us and start digging for a nugget . We'll retain our own first rounders in the next two seasons and have an extra one .....we will find a Center at some point and it does not have to be next season because we won't be a Cup finalist next season.

Good for K'Andre. He has a good head on his shoulders. Don't take the bait, kid.

Buffalo is such a gong show. Eichel, Reinhart, and Ristolainen all on the outs. They're blowing it up again after blowing it up in the Eichel draft. They're spinning their wheels and have done nothing in over five years. If Jim Dolan isn't careful, he'll have the same gong show here if he doesn't f*** off and let Drury do his thing. It's a good thing Sather grew out his 90's supervillain goatee to look mean and menacing now. He's the only thing standing in the way of the Rangers being another Buffalo in the next 3 to 4 years. No playoffs and just spinning the wheels.

It goes without saying, but wow, stay away from Eichel. Unless Buffalo retains half and the Rangers give up spare parts for him, I want absolutely no part of him. He went to the media today, publicly disclosed his injuries, which is a huge no no, and essentially told every team in the league to prepare your best offers for his services. That, and Buffalo's medical staff look like total negligent bafoons. Wow.

Would bet dollars to donuts Colin Stephenson asked K’Andre that question

Colin is also the one that asked that asinine “is the team too soft” question to Brendan Smith after the Caps game last week

How about Bo Horvat? Just throwing his name out there, I have not kept up with Vancouver, no idea if he would fit the Rangers, would be available or whatever.

Why would any team trade anything of significant value for Eichel with the multitude of injuries he has?

Eichel has to get on the ice to prove his abilities haven't diminished. Neck or back injury that may require surgery is a flashing red light. Is he even gonna be healthy enough to play next season?

Buffalo is really in a bind. If they don't move him before next summer a NMC kicks in. How do you get top value for a broken player who can't STFU?

He'd be a perfect fit here, but I would imagine Vancouver will do just about everything they can to keep him. Even if this means a player like Boeser becomes a cap casualty.

Reporters ask the stupidest sh*t but seriously, was that necessary? Leave the kid alone.

Probably still pissed that Adam Herman got cancelled into oblivion and they were looking for a quote to present as evidence that Herman was on to something with DeAngelo's treatment of Miller and maybe the Zoom thing was related

which is hilarious the team they've built somehow still results in Boeser being a cap casualty

For Vancouver players, offer sheet Petterson.
If the previous regime was here, I'd agree with this. With Drury at the helm and with Dolan pulling the strings, the Rangers could be anywhere from winning the division to picking in the lottery again next summer.

Losing four first round picks, including potentially Shane Wright, Brad Lambert, or the Russian plus three more 1st rounders would be yet another "egg in face" moment for this franchise.

And for that, I'm out.
