Here’s all I can say. I don’t think the NYR have any intention whatsoever in moving Chytil or Lundkvist/Schneider in an Eichel trade

I think Kravtsov Jones Robertson Pajuniemi Georgiev Strome Buchnevich and the 15th this year and most certainly a lotto pick this year if buch or Strome help them get it are in play but I do not believe those 3 kids above are in play. If they were a deal would be done by now

I am certain that Buffalo wants to take bpa at #1 which is Owen Power however they desperately want a top center from this draft and they can get one they like with a top 10 pick

Its not about need, it's about getting a player in there who could take a already strong forward group and possibly make it even stronger.

They've been spinning their wheels for a bit. It would behoove them to do something to try to push that group forward. Giving away the only decent goalie you've had in almost 20 years isn't a good start, nor do I know if their owner is willing to pay another big ticket, but they have the pieces.

trocheck would almost certainly go the other way, and I'd be much more interested in adding him to our team than Eichel.
