Steve Spott doesn't like to use his best players (he showed that during the Canada Russia Challenge last summer) if the game "doesn't count". You could argue that he didn't do it at that time because it was an evaluation for the "real dance" at the WJC, but he showed what a great coach he was when he took the most stacked Canadian team in 8 years and failed to medal for the first time in 15. Really disappointed in his hiring, as you can probably tell.

wish he was going more for the win, but this is the place to get a look at a guy like Murphy, so oh well.
