So we're down 2-0, but I still think this team can take the series. Hank has been outstanding and I'd like to believe that the goals will come. With that being said, we need to win this game and I'm making the trek from Hartford to NYC to watch this one with my wife. Looking forward to being in the city, getting a burger/beers at Doc Watson's and then watching the Rangers in the playoffs. We're excited. Who all is going and hasn't given up hope? Anybody on the Upper East Side wanna meet for some beers? We'll be in around 3 or so. Let's Go Rangers! #BecauseItsTheCup #AnythingCanHappen

I'll be in attendance in sec. 119, but I need to see something, ANYTHING, that shows these players believe they deserve to be in the playoffs.

Score some goals.
 
I don't think I'll be there but I'll be watching of course. I'm a realist about the team but because I go into every game with hope I would never choose option 4

Sorry but I have to be a realist. Rangers lose 2-1. Tortorella needs to go. His system sux and every year NYR is just squeezing by. If it wasn't for Henke and shot blocking NYR would barely be making the playoffs, Torts ***** never been effective and it's showing. This team is too talented and too good to look like they do! NYR loses series 3-1

How does one lose a best of seven series 3-1?
 
This is the 2nd time I've died on the inside from all the people not getting the Animal House reference :(

Sigh, they better come out like the Isles did tonight. But actually win.
 
Fun to see how many people still don't get the Animal House reference even though it's used a lot on the boards....

Anybody going to be pre-gaming on the Upper East Side? Or at any particular bar near MSG? Always willing to meet up with fellow Ranger fans, especially those who still believe in this team.
 
I'll be there. Can't just stand by and let the Germans bomb us. Who do Jeff Schultz and Karl Alzner think they are anyway!?
 
I wont be there for game 3 or 4 and I am glad I sold them both. I am optimistic nearly every year because that is just my nature. I just didn't like the feeling I got real early in the season and still feel that way.
Worst part is they aren't even scary and they are very,very defeatable team.
 
I may be dreaming but what more is there to being a sports fan of any kind if there is no dream? It's hard to state NYR in 6 or 7 at this point but we can definitely play better hockey and go somewhere. I'd rather the year end with a steady belief than to throw in the towel and "shrug it off".
 
Can we be the NY "Sens" tonight ? Even better, can we borrow Walrus tonight ? LGR !!!!!!!!!!!!

Btw, impossible for me to go to the game.:cry:
