Don’t know what hardiness zone you’re in, but I generally direct sow carrot seed. First few went down this past week. Someone (not me, of course) should start a garden thread.

They set themselves up for failure like this every time the regime changes. "We're different from the previous regimes, we're getting back to being a Flyer." Then in 4 years when none of their promises have come to fruition even the authentics start to pay attention to the man behind the curtain.

You can set your watch by it:

1. New regime comes in
2. New regime promises authentics the moon, says they will "get the Flyers back to being the Flyers"
3. Authentics blindly believe new regime
4. 4 or 5 years pass and there is no/minimal improvement
5. Authentics realize they were sold magic beans, turn on regime
6. Back to step 1

Dudes parents really went and saw rocky is the theaters, conceived him, 9 months later named him after Mr Balboa, and turned him into a gold medal winner, albeit at sole indigenous tournament who’s name I’m blanking on.
We put a statue up and vaguely pretend Rocky was a real person and Thompsons parents tried to make him a real person.
