That is a pretty badass stick he got. Congrats to him. He is very underrated and pretty essential on our defensive line now.

He had the team high in points today too, tying 20 teammates, including the goalie, thereby commemorating his longevity achievement.

Was a pretty awesome little ceremony on a fantastic milestone for a guy who went through a lot of adversity to just play hockey again. Congrats to Robyn!

The guy is a true warrior. Fought severe injuries suffered in a car wreck before he was a rookie and has played a long hard career. Congrats on number 1000, just wish you could have celibrated with a win.

He had the very first shot (blocked), right in front of me, and I yelled "score" would have been a nice touch.

Robyn Regehr’s intelligence continues off the ice into his oilfield rental business

Regehr’s reliability and strong defensive play have not only given him an impressive career in hockey, but it was actually through his hockey career that he found passion and success away from the ice.

During the lockout season of 2005, while Regehr was playing in Calgary, he attended a charity event where he agreed to donate some personal time to the highest bidder in an auction.

A potential recipe for disaster? Perhaps.
