No, not even close. Not even in a lazy “oh he’s the youngest so he must be the best sense.” He is, from a developmental standpoint at his age - much more on the Quinn Hutson track than the Lane or Cole track.

Leading scorer on the national runner up that had a number of first and second round picks. He is of course two years older than Lane so his ceiling is not super high. But he would have gotten an ELC regardless of his last name based on his ncaa resume.

Looks like he was a late bloomer. He might not be an NHL'er anyway, but he could be. If not, its still good to have system depth in Bakersfield.

I heard they would have to play him in a regular season game to make him optional for the playoffs, but I'm not sure if that's true. It would make sense if it is. Get him in for a game, see how he does, so we have another body available if we continue to have our injury issues.

He didn’t exactly have standout numbers. He was 7th on his USHL team in scoring. Some places had him as a potential late pick. He seems to be a late bloomer compared to his brothers, and he didn’t have the benefit of his last name at the time
