The premise that "No player on the defense has struggled this season from a possession standpoint more than Scuderi." is flawed because the last thing you want Scuderi doing is hanging onto the puck. Not saying that I want him back, but measuring him based on possession seems foolhearty.
Kings system will hide a lot of flaws in defenseman and make them look better than they are. I'm sure if Kopitar because a defenseman he'd be the best defenseman on the team.

Kopitar is already arguably the best two way forward in the league (I say arguably so no one gets ass chapped). He would make an INCREDIBLE defenseman. I still believe we should clone him.

Kopitar is a perfect hockey player. Everything about him is perfect. The way he reads the play, the way he handles the other team, the way he subtlety dominates games, the way he works, even down to his build. He's a tremendous talent.
His hair, his flow. His creepy smile.. Too much?
Honestly yeah, he's pretty amazing. I think they should try playing him on the point on PP.
