No matter what anyone says and as much as his detractors want to discredit him, for quite some time he was one of the lone bright spots on a Kings team that didn't have much of anything going for it.

Very well put. No matter how people love hating on the guy personally, there's no taking away the fact that he was an outstanding player. Powerful slapshot that if not scoring, got the puck down low for others to shoot. Hipchecked guys into dizziness. Blake is now in HHOF where he deserves to be honored.

He probably does deserve hof status but he broke too many hearts in la. I forgive him personally but I'm still not in the mood to honor him as a Los Angeles King.
