Amazing that threads about actors, musicians or other mostly inconsequential people in the overall scheme of things get so much attention while a thread about one of the most impactful humans in recent history gets nothing. Dr. Henderson lead the team that eradicated Smallbox, which killed 500 million people in the 20th century! Meanwhile some woman who played a princess is talked about like she actually did something other than pretend to be someone else.

It's true... unfortunately we (the collective we, not anyone specifically on this board) worship celebrity, perceived beauty, wealth, and fame far more than we worship intelligence and genuine world changing accomplishment.

I was going to suggest the reason for that was because this section of the forum is very inactive, but searching about him has shown even the science media (let alone the MSM) covered it very little.
