Loved watching Schmautz flying down the wing and unleashing his cannon, he put a lot of fear in opposing goalies, just wish it found the target more often lol. But Schmaultz was a fun player to watch and root for.

Lou Nanne was so close to being right there.

Loved that team, that time, those players. How Jean Ratelle could make a saucer pass so perfect and flat.
How Brad Park could stickhandle in a phone booth. Captain Cash and the team toughness and camaraderie. Loved how Dan Kelly would always pronounce it Don Mar-CAUGHT. TV 38 Fred and John. Nifty Middleton and Max McNab. Taz, Doakie, Obie, Shep, Cheesy and Harpo. But Schmautzie was my favorite. One hundred seventy pounds give or take but played with not an ounce of fear. The heart would not be so heavy if the memories it holds were not so dear. A stick tap for you old friend as you join the Gallery Gods. Amen.

The 1978 and 1979 Bruins were Cup worthy thanks to guys like Bobby. What teams they had but Montreal was better. We appreciate how good they were and how close they came to winning it all years later. More proof of how good a coach Grapes was too.
