OT: Rielly on the World Cup Squad?

If Rielly puts up 40+ points this season and keeps playing stellar defense like this, does he get the invitation to the team? I mean some of the defenseman from last Olympic are not as good as they were, and guys like Giordano are folding quicker than you would imagine.

Does he have any realistic chance of making the team or at least to the camp?

Rielly has a really good chance of making the 23 and Under team. If he continues playing the way he has of late, which I think he can do, I'd say he's essentially a lock.

Are you talking about Team Canada? If so, there is zero chance he gets invited to that team. Not because of his talent, but because he will be on the 23 and under team. The 23 and under team gets first priority over 23 and under players. I'd venture to say he's a lock for the 23 and under team.
