Which King has outscored Sidney Crosby this year? Also, see which center LA should have waived:

Love the part of the article with the lines through it.....
Would be ok with trying a lot of these. I think Jones has earned more starts than what he has been given the last month.
I always thought TT was over hyped but he has been a stud. The team truly missed him when he was out with mono or whatever it was.
I am believer in Richards over Stoll, but have to trust DL and sutter know way more than I.
I think it's more a matter of Quick hasn't earned as many starts as he has been given recently.
No shocker that MR has out produced Brown on average with worse line mates and half the TOI.
Also no shocker that Stoll ****ing sucks. MR, while deserving of plenty criticism, has been a patsy since day one, and most of the fanbase has bought into that idea hook line and sinker.
I agree that it is important to compare the cap hits of Richards and Stoll when comparing their performance. But because we are stuck with Richards, the cap hit does not matter. We should plug him into the line up eventually - once he does his "conditioning" - because, when ignoring cap hits, he is a lot beter option than any of our other bottom dwellers.
Exactly. I'd rather have an underperforming Richards, who we're stuck with regardless, on our third line than Stoll.
Also, Clifford outperforming Kopitar in shots at EV per 60 is just fantastic. There's no way Kopitar is getting 10 million a year.

Richards is on the ice for to many goals against to be an effective third line center, it's as simple as that. And it didn't matter whether he was playing with Jeff Carter, Jordan Nolan or anyone in between. It's as if some people on this board are just stuck in 2011 or just choose to ignore what has happened the last few seasons, no one was a patsy or a scapegoat. This is the NHL for Gods's sake.
And Stoll while being worlds better defensively doesn't score enough to be a third line center. Stoll and Richards are both fourth line centers at the NHL level, and if either one is back next year (which I think is unlikely) the Kings better have a ton of faith in Shore to be the 3C. The more realistic option is having Shore as the 4C and bringing in a veteran to be the 3C for a couple of years.
We're not stuck with Richards. One way or another his contract will be dealt with during the off season.
Agree on Kopitar, he is going to be fine as a two-way center for several more years, but he isn't going to be leading the Kings in scoring much longer if he keeps playing the way he is this season. Certainly not even worth $9M a season IMO.
In your opinion, what players are worth $9 million or more if they were UFA's to be right now? I get the feeling you would only give $9 million per to a select few, such as Stamkos or Crosby.
